Pastor Park is a fourth-generation Seventh-day Adventist, whose great-grandfather converted from Methodism after encountering an Adventist colporteur. Inspired by their newfound faith, the family dedicated their lives to ministry, including the speaker’s father, Pr. Sanghyun Park. After becoming blind in his 30s due to brain surgery complications, Pr. Park began ministering to blind individuals through a Bible correspondence radio ministry.
Witnessing the transformation in people’s lives, Pastor Park felt called to become a pastor and has since served for 34 years. Throughout his ministry, Pastor Park has been involved in church building, fundraising, and unifying congregations, particularly in challenging environments in the U.S. Pastor Park is also known for supporting English Ministries and nurturing youth and children.
Pastor Park expresses a strong desire to dedicate the remainder of his ministry to preparing people for Christ’s Second Coming and deepening Adventist identity.
